Mt.Stirling – Single Day Programmes:

  • Orienteering and Summit Walk (Group Sizes 10 to 50 students)
    COST: $50/day

Our morning session commences at 9am with navigation and mapping exercises. Following our training session we break into teams of three to four members to complete a challenging orienteering course, taking students through the Alpine Ash forest and into the snow gums on the Fork Creek trail. We break for lunch at the Cricket Pitch then walk to the summit returning down Bluff Spur to TBJ. During the walk we will undertake a practical demonstration of park management and will lead a group discussion covering environmental and tourism issues affecting the region.

  • Mt.Bike and Orienteering (Group Sizes 10 to 24 students)
    COST: $70/day

Normally we will divide into group sizes of 8 to 12 students for this programme, swapping activities following lunch at King Saddle. The orienteering component is similar to that described above. Our mountain biking takes the group via the Circuit road through current logging coups to Bus Huts returning via the Razorback trail to Razorback mountain cattlemen’s hut to King Saddle.

Mt.Stirling / Mt.Buller – Multiple Day Programmes:

  • Orienteering, Bush Walk, Mt.Bike, Climbing & Abseil (Group Sizes 10 to 24 students)
    COST: From $130 - 2 days

Your group has the choice of one of the single day programs detailed above followed by a day of climbing, abseiling and team games. Or you might prefer a two-day mountain bike navigation ride from the Mt.Buller Village over the Summit of Mt.Stirling to Razorback Cattlemen’s Hut. Stirling Experience can organise overnight accommodation for your group in a lodge on Mt.Buller or arrange a camp out under the stars.

NOTE: camping and outdoor equipment can be arranged should your school require.
