Unfortunately the Freeheel Festival is unlikely to run in 2007. Despite good participant numbers in 2005, last years cancellation due to lack of snow has made it difficult to re-enthuse organisers to re-enter again this year. 

If there are any Telemark skiers interested in assisting with co-ordination please drop Stirling Experience a line and we will be only to happy to provide support. Here are some photos from previous years.

All the top brands and latest skis and bindings from your favourite outdoor suppliers is available free for trial.

Free Telemark clinics for beginner to expert level are available during the festival. Beginner and Intermediate Tele clinics take place on King Saddle and the TBJ practice slope in the morning. Intermediate and Advanced tele clinics on the Summit during the afternoon.

A full range of Telemark equipment is available for hire from the Mt.Stirling Ski Hire at Telephone Box Junction.

The Buller / Stirling Freeheel Event is conducted by AdventurePro with the support of Stirling Experience, Buller Ski Lifts, Mt Stirling Ski Patrol and the Mt. Buller Mt. Stirling Resort Management Board.

*There is no entry fee for the Freeheel event. Demo equipment, clinics and exhibitions are free. You will need to pay the normal resort gate entry fee and purchase a lift ticket on Sunday for Mt.Buller. There are no trail fees on Mt.Stirling.
